He was a great MC during the reception parts and just an all around great hype man for my husband and I. She showed no hesitation with our limited budget (in fact, she proposed a much more affordable quote than the other florist we had considered) and created the most stunning flower arrangements that perfectly aligned with our inspiration photos. I couldn't get enough of my beautiful bouquet! Her attention to detail is also unmatched - I was shocked to find a few flowers sitting on top of the water fountain outside the bridal suite, which hardly anyone would see and was also not part of our quote. She is committed to excellent service, too; as we realized the logistical difficulties of transporting our homemade chuppah to and from the venue, she graciously agreed to store it at her house before and after the wedding for an extremely nominal fee. On top of all of that, she was so easy to communicate with, flexible, understanding, and unwaveringly positive - all traits that are so important, but sometimes missing, in a vendor! My only wish is that I had more time to take in all of the design details she and her team created - the chuppah flowers, the aisle markers repurposed as centerpieces, the bud vases on the cocktail tables. But, we have photos incoming to fill in the gaps! We love Amy and can't recommend her highly enough!”

From the initial consultation to the wedding day itself, DJ Neema was dedication to making the musical experience authentic and meaningful. Initially, we interviewed two DJs and DJ Neema stood out with his impeccable mix that seamlessly blended our eclectic music tastes, from Houston rap to Bollywood hits. On the wedding day, he worked his magic, keeping the dance floor alive the entire time — keep in mind that this was a daytime and a completely dry wedding! His ability to read the crowd and curate the perfect vibe for the event was truly impressive. “Huckleberry Studios was the second vendor we hired for our wedding, and words CANNOT EXPRESS how incredible they are in storytelling, relatability, and professionalism. If you’re actively searching, please start by going to their website and sending them an email to get to know them. It really is worth it. To start, I met the two of them at an event called The Big Fake Wedding. They had recently both moved to Austin, and really were personable and kind on our first initial meeting. I came home and told my husband, and said let’s hop on a call. So we met them during our initial consultation over the phone, and we started to really vibe around board games and mutual favorite movies. It was clear they are a really freaking cool couple, and it made it easy to connect with them both on a personal level. Off the jump we booked them as our second vendor. What happened next is just every wedding planning couple’s dream. It was the constant communication, the messages to jump in and help, the persistence to learn more about our story, and the masterful execution of communication. The wedding day came and despite how fast the day goes, Alex and Jim really just fit in with ease, capturing the excitement, the nervousness, the anxiety, the joy, the laughter, and the tears. We love that they highlighted all the emotions we both felt that day, and that’s just the sneak peek! (Which by the way came the week after our wedding! So fast and literally playing on repeat as we type.) Throughout the year in wedding planning, we really felt that Alex and Jim both cared about telling OUR story in OUR way. And we’re both youngest children, really stubborn, and loud. It’s not easy. But after all that, I’d EASILY choose Alex and Jim to retell our story any day.
