My first wedding day to capture was two years after I had started freelancing; a day I will never forget, Valentine's Day, 2014, in Hot Springs, AR. Little did I know how my focus would shift from that day forward. In the past seven years since then, I am honored to have captured more than three-dozen weddings. It never fails that each of those days are full of such unique beauty and character, but most importantly, they are full of loving memories of a lifetime.

"How long have you been doing photography" is a tricky question. I discovered a joy in photography during childhood. I built a foundation for photography in the darkroom during high school. I found a passion for photography when I began photographing music in 2009. Concert photos have a way of capturing energy and motion that just grabs you. Growing up with my father's side of the family deeply involved in the wedding industry and having a mother who was a wedding photographer in her early years, the launch and success of Veil & Vine was a delightful surprise. It all began with a Nikon D3500 capturing family moments and a dabbling in wedding coordination. Initially a means to supplement my income during my pursuit of a master's degree in counseling, it transformed into a full-time career. Since 2018, my days have been dedicated to the honor of serving couples on one of the biggest days of their lives.

I knew right away just after shooting my first wedding 14 years ago that I had found my calling. It was perfect because I could combine my passion for photography and love.
