BIG FUN Entertainment & Brass Band
Big Fun Entertainment & Brass Band was founded as a brass band by Corey and his friends from Southeastern University. Over the years the business has grown to be so much more than a brass band, now offering all things live music related from a 2ndline parades in the streets, to a high energy cover band, small and large jazz ensembles, DJ services and more! Abby, Corey's wife, is the resident DJ and operations manager of the business and would love to connect with you to see if Big Fun can provide the right services for your event!
We're a family owned and operated business based in Southeastern Louisiana, and we use a wide network of incredible musicians to execute our events. I would say what sets us aside is the love and and care we have for both our clients and our musicians- it's very important to us that our musicians and our clients enjoy their experience in collaborating with us, because our business only thrives if both parties genuinely enjoy their experience and feel they're cared for throughout the process.

Super fun!
Super fun brass band that did a 2nd line for our wedding. They were outstanding and our guests loved them!
They are worth every penny and then some!!!
It should be 10 stars to be honest! Working with Abby and her team was the easiest, most professional, incredibly thorough, and insanely fun experience we had with planning our wedding. Any problem I was trying to solve concerning ceremony music, second lines, and eight piece bands, she took care of with utter perfection. They are completely transparent with pricing and expectations, and then they went above and beyond to make our day unbelievable. Even the little things you don’t think of from parade permits to a microphone for the officiant, Abby was on it! All we had to do was explain that we were millennials, and the eight piece band took that and ran with an utterly perfect set list! It was nothing short of magic! They are worth every penny and I hope to work with them again in the future. Thank you for everything!

Y'all were so clear in communication, and patient with receiving information while we were slammed during Super Bowl and some of wedding season. I cannot thank you enough for treating us so kindly and with respect in addition to just GETTING DOWN at your wedding and making sure your 2ndline band and the wedding band had a great crowd to hype them up and make a great performance happen. We wanted a traditional New Orleans brass band experience and that what we got! Abby was a breeze to work with for scheduling, and the band showed up and showed OUT! So many compliments on them, and they were so lovely and talented. ️️

We (Nola Dukes Band) have been booking BIG FUN BRASS BAND over the last 6 years for all of our clients requesting second lines. They are the most dynamic Second Line Band in town. Corey Bostic is the band leader and organizer. He not only delivers the most energetic Second Lines, but is a great human being and always makes sure that you get what you expect from a true brass band. Because of our reputation as The Nola Dukes Band, it's important that all of our musicians and recommended colleagues deliver excitement every single time. I cannot recommend them highly enough!!!!! If we get to work together on the same event, we are accustomed to playing together in order to make transitions easier and, because of our history, the excitement is tangible when we see our friends and colleagues enter the space! Corey also works directly with City Hall on a regular basis, he is one of the FIRST to receive all of the second line info from the City of New Orleans as he coordinates multiple second lines every week.
