    Marissa was amazing as our day-of coordinator! Like I’m sure several brides feel during the beginning stages of wedding planning, I thought I’d be able to handle all of the coordination and day-of details on my own. I am so grateful I made the decision to hire Marissa! She was so thorough with our timeline, brought up things that I didn’t even think about, and helped run the day seamlessly. Having her as a part of our team allowed me to be fully present and enjoy everything about our wedding day. It was perfect and Marissa was a large part of that!

    I am the mother of the bride, and really appreciate the collaborative nature that Marissa has. She was patient with a young bride who had a very, very specific vision for the wedding. Marissa and her assistant were super accommodating, even swinging by our home after the wedding and before the reception to pick up some floral arrangements we had made, which was a godsend. She made my daughter feel comfortable asking her many questions, and spent a good 2 hours with us figuring out every detail of the timeline for the actual wedding day. Thank you Marissa!

The quality of their work and value they provided was truly compassionate, educated, and clear. They ran our wedding day seamlessly, ensuring everything went off without a hitch. Cotten Designs' professionalism and attention to detail made our special day all the more memorable. We are so grateful for their hard work and dedication in making our wedding dreams a reality. Although the teammate Marissa hired for us at first did not end up working out, Marissa herself left us with no doubt that everything would work out and that she would be there for us - and she was and it did!

    I'm almost certain she double-booked my wedding date knowingly. Was generally unresponsive, scheduled and participated in the walk-through, promised vendor recommendations and floor plans, and then ghosted me for 10 days before canceling on me 47 days before my wedding. All brides deserve better than this unprofessional nonsense. I left reviews on other websites, but she has since deleted her Google Business page and turned off her Facebook reviews, so people can no longer see them. I want to warn other brides.

    Thank you for your feedback. While we’re disappointed to hear you feel this way, we do want to clarify the circumstances surrounding your event for accuracy. Your wedding date was not double-booked. The team member originally assigned to your wedding was placed on medical leave unexpectedly. As soon as this arose, we worked promptly to provide a replacement coordinator, which was declined on your part. In regard to the floor plan, we communicated that we were unable to create a custom layout without receiving the original venue floor plan, which was not provided to us. Despite this, we made every effort to support your planning process with the information we had access to. While we always welcome constructive feedback, some of the claims made are inaccurate and could be considered defamatory. We’re hopeful that any public reviews reflect the full context and facts, and we kindly ask that future comments do the same. Our team puts a great deal of care into every client experience, and we remain proud of the work we’ve done for our couples. We genuinely wish you a beautiful marriage and happiness in your new chapter.
