This delightful venue is easily accessible from the 405 and 105 Freeways, has excellent disabled access, and there is free WiFi throughout.

Our venue started as a music recording studio. We still have several studios that operate Monday through Friday. The event business was born out of people coming into the recording studios and asking if they could throw a party in our space and one thing led to another. Once a 1980s smog-check center, SmogShoppe is now a 100% solar-powered, private 6,500 square foot indoor/outdoor haven for desert plants, vertical gardens and chic vintage furnishings. The generous floor plan can accommodate up to 150-person garden ceremonies, 150-person formal sit down dinners, and 250-person cocktail parties. Historic South Central/ Exposition Park adjacent daylight studio is a light and airy creative space for photography and events. The space is a bright and fresh brick architectural building with wooden beams throughout, fresh painted white brick walls, and high sheen concrete floors — complete with a dressing room, lounge, bathrooms and parking. We can design custom lighting for your event and also provide professional audio services.

The warehouse venue consists of two main spaces: the reception hall and the ceremony room. In between, there's a bridal lounge, bar area, kitchenette, vendor stations, and storage. Seventh Place is an urban warehouse venue available for an array of events, weddings, parties, concerts, film and commercial productions, and large-scale exhibitions. It offers a unique, eclectic charm in the heart of the Arts District in Downtown, Los Angeles. A growing artistic and cultured community surrounds it, just steps away from Little Tokyo, Japanese Village, and Southern California Institute of Architecture. This impressive, seventy-five year old, urban interior space consists of bow truss 14 ft. high ceilings, vintage architecture with exposed brick, large windows, and skylights.

We are a Top floor penthouse in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. The perfect space for gatherings or to celebrate a special event. There is no other space like this. We have packages for you to be able to customize the ceiling to a theme of your choice. We can split the space into two sections or you can buy the full space out. We have 6 restrooms total onsite as well as 2 prep kitchen areas and a spacious balcony. Minimum hourly depends on day of the week or type of event. We run our space in time slots not hourly We require a security team to insure the event runs smoothly. This is a separate cost and depends on the capacity. We charge a $2500 refundable security deposit via email invoice. This amount is returned within 4-5 business days of the event once everything checks out.
