The Norman D. Banquet Hall has a rich history of being part of our area’s special days and fun times. From its beginnings over 40 years ago as the Knights of Columbus Hall, meeting place and bingo hall. It has hosted numerous weddings, fundraisers, graduation parties, and birthday parties to mention a few. Three years ago, when thinking of selling the hall Robert Dille was approached by a decorator expressing an interest to buy a part of the hall. After much thought, he decided to take the chance on this incredibly talented and passionate lady.

The Yellow House is a historic farmhouse built in 1857 that sits on 120 acres of farmland. The house is a regional favorite when our field of sunflowers blooms in late August and early September. Guests can utilize the interior of the farmhouse as well as the expansive grounds.

Sugar Lake Lodge is a 135 acre estate with a seven acre private lake surrounded by Lake County Metro Parks. La-Vera Party Center is a beautiful and versatile venue, ideal for a variety of events. Offering both a banquet and conference facility, it can accommodate from 100 to 720 guests, ensuring it suits gatherings of all sizes. Founded in 1952 by Larry and Vera Gaudio, the center began as a catering business, with a strong emphasis on homemade Italian cuisine. Their dedication to using the finest ingredients and traditional recipes has been passed down through three generations. Today, La-Vera Party Center continues to uphold those same time-honored cooking traditions, providing exceptional service and delicious meals for every event.

The timber frame barn was built in 1905. It is 3,300 square feet and can comfortably seats 200 guests, with plenty of room for dinner and dancing. In 2012-2013, it was renovated to restore its original structure. Wagon wheel chandeliers and a unique bar constructed from French wine barrels and the original barn doors were added. The surrounding farmland offers stunning views and sunsets.
